Location
Yzeures-sur-Creuse is a commune in the Indre-et-Loire department in central France.
It is one of the oldest towns in Touraine, occupation dating back to the Upper Paleolithic era more than 10,000 years before Christ. During Ancient history and the Merovingian dynasty, it had an important role.

Yzeures sur Creuse is positioned on the the border of 3 departments, Indre, Indre et Loire and the Vienne. The town has a large supermarket as well as many other smaller inderpendant shops such as boulangeries, butchers etc and bars and restaurants.
The next town of La Roche Posay (4km) has many bars and restaurants, a casino, an 18 hole golf course, a race course, cinema as well as many other attractions.
Angles sur l'anglin (12km) hav been voted as one of Frances most beautiful villages. It's ruined chateau overlooking the river is well worth a visit.
